Let's Go to the FAIR!!!

On the 10th of April, 2010 we went to the Clark County Fair out in Logandale. We had a blast! This was Chloe and Phoebe's first time going to the fair. T.J. and I were so excited to see their reactions to all the lights, rides and animals. We went up Friday night with Grandma and Grandpa Laub and slept in a trailer in the parking lot. We got up early Saturday morning and headed out as soon as the park opened.

Phoebe was so good she loves being outside so she just chilled in her stroller and took in the sites.

Chloe got a makeshift pinwheel form one of the 4H clubs. She loved it and as you can tell was super excited.
We took in a few shows. A tumbling act, a juggling act and me and T.J. favorite The Frankie Moreno Band. They were awesome and we even bought there CD. I think it;s the first CD we've bought in like two years.

This picture came out really dark and this is my attempt at lightening it.

If you know T.J. you know he LOVES old cars this was one of his favorites at the fair. HE could tell you what it was but I have no idea. =)
The first ride we took Chloe on was the Ferris Wheel. She was very nervous at first but she did great. I think it helped that Grandma went with her.

We got on the Ferris wheel together but then T.J. got booted to another seat because there were to many of us in one seat. But at least we got a picture together first.

We learned that Phoebe LOVES to drink form a straw. We knew she could but we discovered that she would rather do that than have a sippy.

We also took Chloe on the Carousel. This ride she LOVED she asked to go again and again and again. Phoebe got to ride to but I took her and I took the camera with me. OOPS.

We also took Chloe into the house of mirrors. She really enjoyed it to my surprise. She loved walking into the walls and being silly. And she loved all the distorting mirrors at the top.
They had a great three and under play area set up. It was FREE!!! There were games and all sorts of fun things to do. Chloe got a butterfly painted on her arm. It was great fun.

Before we left we had to get a funnel cake. It is a Fair tradition. Chloe loved every second of that tradition.
Chloe won the red gorilla at one of the midway games. It was a great time. And we were glad to get to spend it with Grandma and Grandpa Laub.
